JOURNEY: Journey

God continually fills me with joy & strength as I choose to journey with Him.
He walks closely with me through it all & transforms my difficult times into a source of refreshing life.
While I keep my focus on Him, each step makes me stronger & reveals to all that He is God alone.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You. Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Weeping. They make it a spring; The rain covers it with pools; They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion. The God of gods shall be seen.

JOURNEY: Treasure

I will treasure God’s words to me & the desires He has placed in my heart.
For I believe He is taking all the pieces & working them together for good as I turn my attention & affection towards Him.

The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.

Matthew 6:21 MSG

JOURNEY: Believe

I seek out God’s words of life & peace;
Letting them wash over me & soak deep into my soul.
His truth transforms me into a new person by changing the way I think.

Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.

JOURNEY: In Christ

My identity is not determined by who I once was or my circumstances.
I am a new creation,
​Alive & hidden in Christ.
I choose to see myself as God sees me & live as His redeemed one.

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are from above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:1-3 NKJV

JOURNEY: Free

God’s heart desire is that
I would be free ...
Free from everything that
separates me from Him,
Free to receive the love He has
poured out into my heart,
Free to become who God
​created me to be ...
a light shining His glory.

So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.

JOURNEY: Flourish

As I cultivate my relationship with God, I flourish.
Growing in grace, thriving in all seasons, & bearing the fruit of trust, love, & contentment.
I am a living memorial declaring that the Lord is faithful to all of His promises.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright.

JOURNEY: Anchor

When the winds of adversity blow  & the waves of lies crash down I anchor myself in God’s word.
He is my source of courage & confidence.
I will not drift off course nor lose ground.

The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].

JOURNEY: Trust

The Lord has carefully planted me.
He is my source of life and peace.
I am secure with nothing to fear.
His great faithfulness enables me to standfast, be brave, be strong.

Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.

JOURNEY: Rest

Withdraw from the busyness of life.
Retreat into the tranquil presence of God.
Be still - Let go
​Trust Him - Be at peace
He will revive my soul & draw me deeper into wholeness in Him.

In returning and rest you shall be saved;
​In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.

Isaiah 30:15 NKJV

JOURNEY: Hope

I strengthen myself in the Lord & refuse to look at my lack.
I refocus by remembering what He has done, praising God, & setting my hope in Him.

Why are you in despair, O my soul?
And why have you become restless and disturbed within me?
Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song will be with me, A prayer to the God of my life.

JOURNEY: Breathe

God desires to breathe life into me so I can be complete & fully live.
He has given me everything I need for life & godliness & has equipped me with a spirit of power & love & a sound mind.

Then the Lord God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit].

JOURNEY: Shine

I look to God with great expectation for I know He hears my cry & answers.
He lifts me up, restores my soul, & makes me shine.
I am the light of Christ to the world.
His work in me will not be hidden.

ARISE [from spiritual depression to a new life],
SHINE [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord];
for your light has come, and the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.
